Build version enforcement. Workers send their build version on connect, coordinator rejects anything older than the minimum. Got burned by forgetting to update one worker out of 4. It connected fine, accepted assignments fine, returned results fine -- except the results were wrong because the query format had changed. No errors anywhere. Took an embarrassingly long time to notice. Now stale workers get a loud rejection on connect instead of silently producing garbage.
