Killed the base fee. Warm storage is the free tier now -- you get a collection, you get queries, you don't pay until you outgrow it or want hot performance. Felt wrong charging people to find out if the thing is useful.
Renamed "cold" to "paused" while I was in there. Cold sounds like a state you got stuck in. Pause/resume sounds like something you'd actually do on purpose.
512D normalization is the metering basis. Not marketing -- it's how you compare apples to apples when someone's storing 768D embeddings next to someone else's 384D. Everything gets expressed in 512D-equivalent units for billing. One number, no ambiguity.
